This is a method that all devotees may use.
It is best to use fresh, natural flowing water such as from an underground spring, a creek, brook, river, lake or fresh snow that is allowed to melt naturally. If this is not possible, tap water may be used. Bottled water is a last resort.
Salt may be sea salt or kosher salt.
A sprig of evergreen that has fallen to the ground may be used in place of the wand.
Take three pinches of salt and place in your left hand. With your right hand, trace the Fora over the salt while saying:
May this salt be cleansed and blessed in the Name of the Mother, and of the Daughter and of the Great Mother, Blessed is She.
Take the wand/sprig and stir water clock-wise, three times.
Trace the Sign of the Fora, again, while saying:
May this water be blessed, in the Name of the Mother, and of the Daughter, and of the Great Mother, Iot ‘E Voh. Blessed is She.
