The Janati Rosary and the Septad of the Day

The rosaries and mantras are based upon the work of ArchMatrona Georgia E. B. Cobb.

The Janati Rosary may be prayed in its entirety or as the Septad of the Day.

For the Septad of the Day, simply pray the following mantra on seven beads of your rosary:

Mantra of the Day:

Sunnadi/Sunday: O, Sai Raya, Lamp of Illumination, Joy and Benevolence, be with us.

Lunadi/Mon.: O, Sai Candre’, Brightness of Reflection, Reason and Purity, be with us.

Rosadi/Tues.: O, Sai Vikhe’, Flame of Courage, Strength and Valor, be with us.

Stelladi/Wed.: O, Sai Mati Sage, Messenger of Intelligence, Intuition and Wisdom, be with us.

Pomedi/Thurs: O, Sai Thema, Foundation of Justice, Order and Harmony, be with us.

Columbadi/Fri: O, Sai Sushuri Grace, Fountain of Compassion, Love and Mercy, be with us.

Foradi/Sat: O, Sai Rhea, Shield of Steadfastness, Temperance and Self-Control, be with us.

The Janati Rosary

Being by tracing the Sign of the Fora:

Begin with the pendant and pray:

Blessed is Our Mother God,

She Who is Mari,

She Who is Jana (or Anna or Marianna (which means Grace of the Mother),

She Who is Mysteria,

Blessed is She.

On the next three beads pray:

O, Fiery Rose of Heaven,

O, Gentle Dove of Peace,

O, Divine Fora of Faith, be with us.

On the First Large Bead:

Silver Star of the Waters, Who has fashioned all Creation into being; beyond all knowing is the Splendour of Your Light. Enfold my spirit, within Your Mighty Mantle, and may the Pure Stream of Your Grace flow within me, in this world and in all the worlds to come. Blessed are You.

The next thirty-five beads:

Pray the Janya mantra of the day.

On the last large bead (same as the first bead):

Let us bless the Holy One.

Blessed is She.

Let us thank the Seven Janati of Dea.

Thanks be to the Seven Janati. (Bow head).
